Journey Through Time (working Title)

Journey Through Time is the working title for a site-specific sculpture created by Adam Detre.
Through this public sculpture, Adam will represent the Journey of planet Earth, travelling around the sun through space on its spiral trajectory. The sculpture will serve as a signpost to the stars, planets and/or constellations that are commonly visible from its location.
With this next installation, Adam continues on his quest to populate public spaces with free-to-view artwork. His belief in the value to freely accessible, public art is unwavering. He considers it his duty to lead by example and contribute in places that others might overlook.
Given its proximity to Water #3, one of Adam’s previous public projects, Adam would like to follow a similar ideology – a reflection of its natural surroundings – without repeating the same design language.
